FAQ

  • How are Move Managers different from a moving company?

Moving companies simply move your furniture and belongings. Richmond Rightsizing provides services to help you prepare for your move, oversee the movers on the day of the move and unpack your belongings in your new home to ensure that the entire moving process goes smoothly. We want you to walk into your new home and feel right at home.

  • When should I contact you?

Call or email us as soon as you know that you will be moving - the earlier the better! Here are some scenarios that fit your situation:

-You are downsizing to a smaller home

-You are planning to move yourself, but you don’t have the time or energy to handle all the details

-You are helping a loved one move to senior living (independent living, assisted living or memory care)

-You have experienced a change in your health and need to declutter your home to meet your current needs

-You are moving but you’re not sure where to begin

-You need/want to relocate to be closer to family

-You are cleaning out a home to list on the market
